Like a thinning thread, the connection of two women was coming to its limits. It was new, A week without any noisy visit from a particular someone. It was new how no one was scolding her about her messy office. Natalie knew. That she can't bring a relationship she held dearly back.
In her office which dominated by papers and books, she passed them by sight and slumped at her chair. Her eyes wandered through the window; the velvet sky made gelt felt absolute loneliness. She was blue that contrasted the sky yet silent as the wind.
