"An organization, my lord?" Agamemnon repeats, a spine chilling grin spread across his face.
"Who would dare to annoy my master so?" Brontes speaks, folding his arms which also flexes his muscles.
Brontes is a dark warrior, and one of my strongest combatants. Should I send him for the job?
It would be better if I could go myself, but the point of spreading my name is by exaggerating my strength, which means, a subordinate needs to go. The point is to make them wonder, 'who is the man who can command over such a monster of a subordinate!'. That kind of thing. If I give this world the idea that my subordinates are seriously overpowered monsters, wouldn't that inadvertently make me the supreme lord of overpowered monsters? Which means I have to select the right subordinate for the task, but...
"They're obviously seeking death," Castor states.
"They must wish to see their maker so bad." Pollux chimes.
Castor and Pollux, the dark pixie elf twins. Their specie is incredibly rare since it's a specie I created. To make them, I created creatures of a whole new specie called pixies. I got the inspiration from western stories of fairies and the like. Then, I combined that to the specie of elves, the dark elves, creating the hybrid creatures, 'the dark pixie elves'. Eventually, other players started creating them too, and their numbers increased. But because a new specie created by a player is still fundamentally lacking, they were difficult to level up or control, so they were often abandoned. And since I needed an army, I took them all and made them subordinates under Castor and Pollux. With their abilities, they could handle taking out a measly organization. But I know almost next to nothing about this organization, and the worst trait of the dark pixie elves is their mischievous nature. If they come across a serious issue, it'll turn into a mess.
"My lord, let me handle it. I will have them pay for angering you." Venir states, her expression twisting into a frown on my behalf.
As a half demon and black mage herself, she does seem like a capable candidate. If only she didn't have a stubborn personality and a deep hatred for humans. So much so that she even gets major magic buffs when her opponent is human. If I chose her, she'd annihilate everyone she came across. Nope, not her.
"We should just destroy the entire town and exterminate every little bug that disturbs our lord," Orion adds.
Another person with a deep hatred for humans. Orion is a dark knight, and a hunter of the stars. It was why I named him after a constellation. Because of his special ability to call forth
"I agree. Seeing our lord aggravated is making me annoyed as well," Amaymon chuckles.
Even less him! At this point I'd be willing to send any other person down there but him! Amaymon the King of Vampires. He's a hybrid. A mix between a demon and a vampire. But this guy is a hedonistic thrill seeker whose only pleasures are pleasing himself and me. If he would only be serious, he'd be the third-in-command and not Dionysius. This guy and Agamemnon were the only two beings in Kingdom Crawlers to bare the stigma of 'Immortality', basically making him the third strongest person in the room, but sending him to exterminate the organization is akin to sending him to exterminate the whole of Dorma. He'd just turn all the humans there into his personal farm and feed on them. Definitely not him.
"You're being too much about this. You're making our lord uncomfortable with your bizarre remarks..."
Hm? Wow. Didn't think she of all people would say something like that. Falacer, the Haemonculus. They're one of the rarest species in Kingdom Crawlers. Even rarer that the dark pixie elves. Falacer is a researcher and the castle's designated doctor because of her top notch healing abilities, though...
"...We should just eat them all and be done with it."
Her personality is mad twisted. Because she's a carnivore, she can only eat flesh to survive, but her favorite is human. She's also got this sick obsession of bisecting human flesh. With the way I designed her, sending her to deal with the dark mage organization is just going to be letting her have a field day. Too many issues will come up.
In the end it's between Mercury, Dionysius, Brontes, and Agamemnon. I was avoiding sending Agamemnon because of his level of skills. I feel it would be incredibly insulting, sending him to deal with a couple annoying human flies. Not to mention I'm a bit scared of the guy now that he's real. Talking to him is hard enough.
As for Dionysius, her abilities are more suited to large scale destruction like Orion. For just one organization, that seems way too overkill. And for Brontes, his army is Aeolia's first line of defense. I know with all the weaklings down in Dorma, it's probably just overcautiousness, but it would make me feel uneasy if he left to handle it himself.
I guess that leaves Mercury, The titan king. I created him with the inspiration of the Greek titans of legend. Mercury is a giant whose true form stands at 60 meters tall. He can adjust his size to about 35 meters with little to no limitations on his power, though taking the size of a human reduces his overall strength to 65% which in itself should be more than enough to handle the dark mage organization. Plus, if he used his giant form to destroy the organization for me, it would draw so much attention enough for it to reach the ears of the palace, and maybe even other countries. What better way to spread my influence than to use a giant for the job?
"Mercury," I speak, alarming all my generals, and forcing their gaze to the ever silent Mercury.
As a titan, he doesn't really speak much, but I know he'd do anything I asked without a hint of complaint.
"Will you destroy the organization for me?"
Mercury bows before answering, "Of course my lord. It would be my pleasure."
You know, I think this is the first time I've actually ever heard him speak. Even the other generals stand shocked hearing his voice for the first time in a while.
"Its name is Vernath. Exterminate them for me."
"Yes, my lord."
