Another day had passed.
Zalvo and his sons were having dinner in the dining room.
He addressed the boys. "What are you going to do tonight, guys?" he asked.
"We're going swimming in the basement pool!" Nathan replied in glee.
Zalvo's brows furrowed. "You are going swimming in there at this time?" he asked in confusion.
"Yeah... the water is clean. Swim with us, Father! It would be fun!" Nathan said.
Zalvo gave Corbin an inquiring glance. "How's the water in there?" he asked.
Corbin smiled. "Just like what Nathan said, the water is indeed clean, Father," he confirmed.
"Okay... boys have fun. I'll go to the ritual room and check your mother," Zalvo said.
"Let's go there together after we finished eating our meal, Father," Corbin said.
Zalvo sighed. "I found this place lonely and empty after your mother is gone," he said gloomily.
"Indeed, this place is lonely," Corbin agreed.
Nathan's face turned sad. "I miss Mother's presence so much!" he said dismally.
