They landed in the living room and saw Sylvia sitting on the couch reading a magazine.
The couple walked straight towards the door.
Sylvia moved in lightning speed and blocked their path just when they're about to reach the door.
Corbin groaned in dismay and looked at his mother. A frown appeared on his forehead. "Mother, why are you blocking our exit?" he asked.
Sylvia looked at Rebecca suspiciously. "Where are you going - guys?"
"We're just going outside to breath fresh air," he replied casually.
Sylvia smirked. "Really? Are you sure?" she asked, looking at Rebecca who avoided her gaze.
"Yes, Mother!" Corbin answered.
Sylvia looked at Rebecca. "Dear...can you wait on the couch for a few seconds? I have something to tell my son," she ordered.
Rebecca nodded her head. "Yes, Madam!" She walked towards the nearest couch and plopped down.
Sylvia grabbed her son into the corner away from Rebecca's earshot.
"Mother, what is it?" Corbin asked.
