"Cooper!" she said, her eyes widened in alarm.
He looked intensely into her eyes. "My love, we need to talk," he said with a pleading voice.
Laura pouted. "After what you have done to me last night, you still have a face to talk to me? How dare you! Get lost!" she said gritting her teeth in anger.
She was about to close the door on his face but he blocked the door with his foot and right hand.
"Please, Laura... let's talk. I want to apologize regarding how I acted badly last night," he said, with a puppy dog's eyes. "I won't leave your room if you won't talk to me," he said adamantly.
Laura examined his face. He seemed serious and has no plans of leaving unless she will talk to him. And she wanted him to leave because she wants to go back to sleep again. "Okay fine. Wait for me on the balcony," she relented with a heavy sigh.
"Thank you, my dear wife," Cooper said and walked away going to the direction of the balcony.
