I quickly left the cafe refraining from turning back. Being surrounded by a bunch of guys who were yelling at one another was not going to have a good ending. I just stood outside with my head down having my thoughts scattered all over the place.
Looking up ,I saw a familiar figure just across the street waving at me.
It was my cousin Alesia.
Before she could cross ,I gestured for her to stay as I was going to go over to her. Almost across the street I couldn't help but quickly glance back at the cafe.
Alesia asked as I stood next to her ,"So what were you doing here?"
I stuttered trying to get the right words out without telling the truth ,"I-I I was just ummmm scoping out the new cafe."
She looked at me with an eyebrow raised ,"Okay ,I guess that's believable enough? Now let's go."
I asked ,"Wait what?"
Alesia just ignored me and began walking. I slowly walked behind her ,saying nothing causing her to turn around.
She asked continuing to walk ,"Is that really the reason why you were there?"
Alesia's question had caught me off guard causing me to stop and think for a brief second as she continued to walk. I didn't feel like telling her that I went on a date. In fact I didn't feel like telling anyone for that matter.
I'm afraid Alesia is going to be all up in my face saying ,"What happened to always saying no to guys you just met?" if I tell her I went on a date.
And it'll be worse if I tell her I met him on my way home in the forest.
I've been asked out a lot but I would always decline their offers but this time it was different. He was different.
Before I could spiral deeper into my thoughts ,I bumped into Alesia which caused me to snap back to reality.
Alesia's POV
Something's up with her but what?
She was obviously in her own world having her thoughts completely engulf her.
If I hadn't stopped she was most likely going to bump into the pole.
I asked ,"Is something bothering you?"
She almost immediately replied ,"I-I I, yes."
"What's wrong ?"I asked.
She replied with little hesitation ,"I don't know how to say this without you giving me a possible lecture."
I asked ,"What did you do?"
Cecelia then began to explain everything to me.
She mentioned that she met a guy named Hayden who she happened to meet on her way home.
And may I say that she met him in the forest. That's just crazy. She also said that he asked her out on a date in which she said yes to.
Hearing about all of this is just giving me a headache.
It might take me a while to process this. I decided to not say anything to her. She even said he was different than the others.
Oh dear ,this is just crazy.
I'm already having my feelings dumped down a hole and now she hits me with this. I cannot deal with all of this at once, so I'll deal with her and this random stranger of hers later.
Cecelia's POV
I hesitated but took a deep breath and told her everything. I told her everything from when I first met him up until now.
Shockingly she didn't say anything. She just looked a little annoyed. Yikes, was this a bad time?
Alesia said before walking off ,"Let's just go."
Maybe she didn't react because she didn't have anything to say to something as ridiculous as that?
That could be the situation.
We both then proceeded towards our awaiting destination ,home.
The Next Day
I was wondering around the halls as usual without a care in the world, not even knowing what I was gonna do next. Wondering around, I found Alesia curled up on the living room couch tightly hugging the couch pillow.
I tried to quietly sneak up behind her but that didn't go so well when she turned around, still hugging the couch pillow.
"Do you need something ?"Alesia asked in a very sorrowful tone.
"Are you okay ?"I asked out of curiosity.
She replied with an "I'm fine" like anyone who was asked that would.
"Are you sure?" I asked sitting beside her.
Alesia replied aggressively, "I told you already that I'm fine! What makes you think other wise!?"
"Well first off, your tone at first and now you're being aggressive making me think something is up," I said folding my arms.
Her grip tightened around the couch pillow as her gaze dropped to the ground.
"Fine, something has been bothering me for a while now," she said shifting her gaze to me.
"What's the matter Alesia?" I casually asked.
"You remember Jayden right?" she asked before Aacelia came barging in.
"Guys! Guys!," Aacelia said cutting our conversation short.
"What do you want Alice?!" Alesia snapped at Alice, gripping the pillow tighter.
"What's up with the sudden burst of energy Alice?"
"I uhhh ummmm, someone's at the door," Aacelia said before running off.
Alesia then dropped the couch pillow back into place and got up.
"Where you heading to?" I asked before getting up as well.
"I'm gonna answer the door, kind of want to know who it is that made Aacelia not answer it." Alesia said before exiting the room.
I soon followed behind her.
Alesia's POV
Walking towards the front door ,before I could reach the door knob , the door bell rang causing me to freeze for a second.
I froze as I was about to open the door. I could feel a pair of puzzled eyes staring at me from behind. I then quickly opened the door and immediately regretted it.
"Uhhh, who is it?" Cecelia asked a little puzzled.
"No one, it was no one," I said as trying to be believable as possible.
"Okay?" Cecelia said folding her arms.
"Great now where were we Cec-" I was cut short by the ring of the front door bell."
"I think no one is ringing the door bell," Cecelia said with a slight chuckle.
"I don't know what you're talking about, I didn't hear anything," I said with a nervous tone.
"Fine, let's go back to the living room," Cecelia said turning around.
Cecelia's POV
As I was a good distance away from the door, I quickly turned around and dashed for the door. The door bell as I reached for the door knob. Whoever was outside this door surely has some patience. Upon opening the door I saw a guy, wavy brown hair , green eyes and all together having a smile on his face.
