Shin was currently walking outside the gym and thinking about life
Shin: 'Our team will win easily, I don't need to worry about the game... ahhh, okay I'll watch the game a bit'
Shin entered the gym and a lot of people were expectating him to enter the game, unfortunately to them Shin just watched the game
The game ended with a score of 49-32, to Spartanburg day school, making they the state champions that will represent all of them in the Nationals!
Shin: "Good job guys, you played well"
He said while hitting their backs
Zion: "We don't need compliments for someone who didn't even played, hahaha"
He said while making fun of him
Shin: "Haha, how funny you are, I didn't played because I'm famous now, heheh~"
The team just shook their heads and sighed about Shin's childish behavior
Coach: "Alright, from now on we'll be preparing to the Nationals, and I'll focus in the areas you are worse, so 2x times more workout"
They felt their souls leaving their body and drop on knees

At School Gym...
Kagami: "Hey pass!"
He got the ball from Himuro and scored with a shot from close-range
Coach: "Nice shot Kagami, I see you are improving in your shots, continue like this"
Zion didn't have no one taller than him in the team, so he trained with Shin in defense(A/N: Shin is the 2nd taller in the team)
It helped because Shin was pretty strong, and got a bit more after opening the 1st Door, he pushed Zion with his body to pressure him
Zion was getting used to being in pressure in the attack, and got more calm before making a play
Himuro was working to get better at playmaking, even if Shin was good at it and played the other day at Point Guard, he was better playing at Power Forward
Trent was training his shots and footwork to confuse his defensor and get a opening to shoot
Shin was like every other day, doing his routine with coach's workout, currently he was training how to change his pace quickly to confuse his opponent
He was progressing quickly, as you could expect from a 'natural talent' born to play the game
He didn't trained just that, he also trained his body swing to help confusing his opponents to fell for his fakes
He also trained his toes to help accelerating his speed quickly than before
Training your toes is very good, because when you go pass someone, you put your weight in your feet and even more at your toes
By training them, you can get more impulse and power to pass your marker or accelerate to your max speed faster
Coach: "Everyone come here I have something to say to you"
Everyone stopped their training and walked to the coach
Coach: "Some news arrived about the Nationals, they explained the rules and the date it will start"
Shin got excited and expected some real opponents this time
Coach: "It will have the eliminatories in differents blocks, they will do that to just have 32 teams
These 32 teams will play against each other and in the final will be left just the top 4 from each part of the country respectively
The final match will have the full quarts to play, so we will be training your endurance until it starts
The day it will start, is in exactly 1 month from today so we'll be training harder than before"
Everyone nodded and asked some more questions before returning to train again
They made a 1v1 witn everyone to play, who loses get out and the winner stays to play against the next one
The score they needed to make to win was 5 points
It kept passing until it gets to an exciting one, the 1v1 of their both principal ofensive players
Kagami: "Ready to lose?"
Shin just shook his head and yawned
Shin: "Uwaaah, this will be pretty easy, atleast try to defend me okay?"
Kagami just tsked and got in position to defend
(A/N: I did Kagami's personality a bit cocky and Shin a little arrogant because until now he had no challenge at basketball
All of this resulted on a personality based on how Shin saw that no one was a real 'match' to him, he really liked playing, he won't be like the Generation of Miracles
His personality won't change until he finds someone or a team that helps him reverse this)
Shin was passing Kagami every time with his speed and fakes, Kagami tried to jump to block every time but or he couldn't get to it in time to block it, or he was tricked by Shin while in the air
Kagami got lucky and did one point by Shin doing a fault
The 1v1s continued and no one could win against him, he played even against Zion and Himuro while he was a bit tired, but it didn't matter and they finished playing with Shin winning all of the games
Coach: "It seems Shin's stamina is pretty good at this point, he probably an handle playing all the quarts by now
But if plays against a teams that make he force himself to much, I'll put him on the bench to preserve him
The other are doing prety good too, but they definatelly will need to be put in the bench once or twice while playing"
The coach finished his thoughts and let everyone go back home because the time to train finished

At ???
Shin: "Wow, this gym is pretty big huh? It seems to look like it has two courts or more on it"
His team nodded and they entered it, they saw a lot of people and walked to where they will play
The coach explained that they will be playing at the block E
Every block will have four teams, the one with less victories will be eliminated from the Nationals
They walked to the place they will neeed to wait to play their games
The coach said Shin won't be playing until the top 16th because a lot of people would be watching him at the moment
Shin sighed and accepted
The eliminatories would be finished in the first, they needed to play three games in a day
Shin watched his team destroying the others while they were a little tired
Shin: 'It seems the workouts payed of huh'
