Zes's P.O.V
I smiled contently as I stroked Knox's black fur. He raised his head from my lap and glanced at me before he started nuzzling against my face, that action warmed my heart, it surely made my face hurt from smiling. He suddenly started licking my face making me chuckle.
"Knox" I laughed while pushing his face away from me.
He somehow translated that to 'Keep attacking me'. In my attempt to push him away from my face, I successfully did achieve that but it did result in my head making contact with the hard floor.
"Ryder!" I yelped.
He stepped away from me giving me a chance to get up and sit on the floor. I watched him slowly shift back into his human form. It took every nerve in my body to stop my jaw from dropping to the floor as well as to prevent drool from forming.
