Keepling raised an eye brow.
" A fortnight ? You heard it right? "
The messenger nodded.
He was afraid of the old Dean to his guts.
He was by far the best medicine teacher and the most authoritative Healer he has ever seen.
Presently he is the Dean of St. Mungro's Educative Cell. But if the rumors about him are true, he was much more than just a learned man. People say, he used to be a companion of Professor Albus Dumbledore ( during his ON NOT SO SOBRE days) and the medical knowledge Keepling possessed were gained by experimental means rather than traditional training. Some even go to the extent that his extreme expertise came from first hand experiment on victims .
Didn't matter if the rumors were true.
Even if they were not , people would still prefer avoiding this Intellect worshipping draconian elder. He was a menace. That's all.
The intimidating personality of this man often reminded people of the famous Mad Eye Moody. No body liked him.
Yet, nobody could defy him.
Except one exceptional lady.
Hermione Granger.
Merlin knows why but Keepling was too consedirate when it came to the matters of Hermione Granger. His liking for this girl was a classic example of nepotism and people often wondered what charm the Lady used on Mr. NOT SO ACCEPTABLE to become his favorite.
The messenger bearing the news shivered in fear as he stole another glance at the man.
Earlier in the morning he asked for Hermione Granger but the news he got from the hospital wing was beyond expectations. FOURTEEN DAYS LEAVE!!!
Hence the discontent.
Keepling discarded the messenger and started sealing the door with protective spells. Once done, he slowly opened the lowest drawer of this table and brought out a small box.
He opened it and took a coin out from it. A typical DA coin. He rubbed it absent mindedly while setting the meeting date .He smiled at an old fond memory. The memory of the time when Granger was working on the DA coins and consulted him for making the jinx complex enough to stay undetected.
He chuckled and nodded. Dumbledore was always one step ahead and Hermione Granger was a burning example of that.
She was precious and Albus made sure that her story remained well hidden, unlike Harry's.
But she was no lesser than the boy who lived.
Just that, she didn't know it.
YET.

Harry groaned as the bright sunlight assaulted his eyes...
Gin.... no... no...
But who could ever dominate Ginerva Weasley? She was too authoritative to handle.
Ginny pulled the curtains wide apart and threw the Daily Prophet on Harry's face.
Explain this , she screamed like a Howler.
Harry looked at the Breaking News of the day. The picture showed Hermionie Granger splashing a glass of coffee on Harry while onlookers stared in shock. Harry ignored the paper and looked at his wife...
You tell me what you see. Why do I need to explain something as clear as day night? Meione is splashing coffee on me. That's it.
WHY, asked Ginny.
She splashed it. Ask her . How will I know why she does what she does. After the ongoing drama for the last one month, I don't even know when she will do what to me. Yesterday she splashed coffee, last week she made that miserable statement about ovum donation and before that she blasted me out of her house. How will I know?
Ginny gave him a nasty look.
I am not a fool Harry. None of you are telling me the truth since that night. This is worse than the times when you two blasted each other over Ron. Please tell me what's going on. You don't have a secrecy vow.
Harry remained silent.
What could he say?
He had been an asshole back then and he has evolved into a bigger asshole with time. But he couldn't tell Ginny what he was thinking. She won't take the situation of rejected Empathy Bond drama lightly. Harry once candidly told her about the pre war phase when Ron had left and he was staying alone with Hermione. About the night when they danced and had a happy night. Harry told everything with a very clean conscience but Ginny was upset for days. She was not angry. But upset. She felt like Hermionie and Harry were meant to be. She and Ron were the side players stepping in at the wrong time and spoiling a good game.
Harry loved Ginny, she was his everything. But Harry loved Hermionie differently. It was like being in love with himself. It was twisted but it was what it was. Letting Ron date her was easy because Ron was a fool and in that way, Harry knew, she would never be away from Harry. He was upset on the break up because he was afraid that he too will lose Hermionie. And he was not wrong. Or was he?
Harry was dark and twisted when it came to certain things. And Hermionie Granger was one of those things.
It was difficult telling Ginny how possessive he was about that woman. He could never let Gin find about his obsession. Never, Ever.
Harry James Potter, you will seriously not tell me then. HUH!!!
Harry looked at Ginny and declared out loud.
NO.
And then, he simply walked away.

Missy was floating and screaming.
And her nose bled.
But that was not the major problem.
The problem was the electric shockewaves she was radiating, shuttering things and electrocuting the people around.
No one could get her out of the situation.
And her screams increased and the bleeding intensified.
Despite Hermione's amazing speed, Draco rushed in first, only to be thrown out of the room just like Narscissa or Tempa.
" Mini", the old lady panicked.
This will pass Mom, wait.
Hermionie stretched her hand carefully trying to feel the emotional imprints. She hit a barrier and frowned. Missy was too naive and too young to shield herself. But nonetheless, she did it. This was both good and bad. The girl was way more capable than Hermionie intended to make her. That was good news. But the frail body holding that amount of power needed to be fixed if the good news had to evolve into a great news.
Mommmmmmy....
Missy cried in panic as she tried to reach for Hermione but ended up sending some more Shockwave everywhere shattering one window pane this time.
She floated a bit higher.
Hermionie sighed and walked in, getting squarely hit by the shockwaves. She initially intended to keep things low, specially with Draco lingering in the back. But she had to help her daughter before shielding her own situation.
Random articles broke here and there and the room shook. But Hermionie didn't flinch.
Slowly she reached the child, grabbed her and pulled her close to herself.
Mommy got you sweetheart...
You are safe...
You are safe...
And Missy lost her sense in her mother's arms. Hermionie sighed. Draco won't unsee this. This makes things difficult for her.
She laid the kid down and excused herself from the rest of the people.
Once in her room, Hermionie lifted the invisibility ward from her hidden wall locker.
She drew out her DA coin and immediately saw the new date and the two words message glowing on it.
NEW VIAL.
She smiled.
May be , this was it.
