Chapter 4 - The Summon: Part 1

Harry panted heavily as he immersed himself in a passionate evening with Gennie. His every free moment was about her and he was not ashamed to admit that he was absolutely in love with Generva Weasley Potter. As he kissed his wife deeply while ending a steamy session of love making, a low tap was heard on the window.

Harry grunted.

Last one year had been very difficult for them.

The loss of their child and Gennie's depression.

The battle with the Giants and the loss of friends and colleagues and people they cared for.

And then the Marriage Law that almost crushed their hopes of being together.

Today, after almost a year the Potters had the mind, heart and emotional stability to enjoy their post dinner privacy. It was like the old times, so peaceful and blissful.

Gennie pulled him back under the blanket, refusing to let him go.

" It can be work Babe, let me check" , Harry mumbled as he pushed his nose against Gennie's neck".

" Come on Harry, they send patronous when its too urgent..."

" I know Babe... but let me see what it is all about "

"Just stay with me Harry... "

"Come on Gennie..."

"Oh Harry"

TAP-TAP-TAP-TAP

Finally Gennie let go of him. Has to be work. Seemed like a "born to disturb "owl. It indeed knew how to irritate people. Must be a Ministry trained owl. She sighed.

Harry blew flying kisses at her as he put his overcoat on and lazily went to the window to receive the letter. He stumbled twice on the way since he left his specs on the bedside table.

Gennie couldn't hold back her smile.

This was her Harry.

Happy, stupid, romantic and awkward.

Harry received the letter, gave a treat to the owl and closed the window.

He waved his hand as he brightened the lights and "accio"ed his specs. With every passing day, Harry was relying more and more on wandless non verbal magic. In his last visit even Ron warned Gennie that Harry was getting more and more inclined towards unusual magical practices and the unusual growth in his magical power was a reason of concern to the Minister also. Harry was never an exceptional wizard.

His defence was strong but offense was poor.

This sudden enhanced unconventional magic with strong offensive attacks kind of disturbed the people who knew him since his childhood.

Presently, Harry was the "Auror Supremo" and many said he was even more viscious and heartless than Mad Eye Moody who earned himself quite a reputation for being very ruthless.

All is well till date, but ,Gennie was secretly afraid of the darkness that Harry had grown up with. Yes, Volemort was gone and his part of the soul was casted off. But at times she wondered, was the Dark Lord's soul horcrux able to affect Harry's soul?

She heard from Ron , Harry and even Hermione about one cursed necklace horcrux that the trio carried with them for almost for a year and after wearing that at a stretch for a day or two, the one wearing it faced anger issues, mood swings, negative thoughts, reasonless suspicion in their mind and what not!!! Infact , under its impact Ron fought with the other two and left them for a span of a month or so and he even had very viscious and negative visions given by the horcrux and being unable to hold up any more he destroyed it using the sword of Griffindor. Gennie always wondered, if a necklace could be this bad, how come Harry is so normal after carrying a part of that Monster's raw soul?

Was there any hidden darkness tucked away at some corner of Harry's mind that was not visible right away but could affect him in future?

She didn't know.

She didn't want to know.

All she wanted was a normal life with her husband and her kids. The thought of kids robbed her off her smile momentarily but then it broadened.

Now that Hermione was here, Gennie could have more kids, a bigger family, more Potters.... more happiness. She couldn't stop beaming visualizing a future with a long table full of future Potter sons and Potter daughters with their own families by their sides.

Gennie was a dreamer.

Wasn't she?

"Gennie", Harry's sudden interruption broke her trail of thoughts. His voice was stern and his eyes were no longer that loving and affectionate.

Instead, there was a dangerous aura, borderlining some kind of madness.

Gennie was taken aback.

They were just making love a few minutes back and now Harry looked shit scary. As if he was about to interrogate some death eater.

" What have you not shared with me regarding Hermione Malfoy connection?"

A simple question that pierced her soul.

She wanted to tell him everything that she knew.

But Hermione was smarter and had binded her by a secrecy vow. It was unlike her but when it came to Missy, she was altogether a different person.

" I am sorry Harry, I am bound by Meione's secretary vow. Don't be angry please", Gennie decided to tell the truth.

Harry was about to say something else, but he swallowed that down.

No meaning venting out his frustration about Hermione on the wrong woman. Gennie was the apple of his eye. No reason upsetting her about things beyond her control. But truth be told, Hermione was the jewel on his crown. Without Hermione and Ron, there would not be any Harry Potter. He owed them his life. He was hindsighted that he chose one and cut off the other a decade back but he can't change the damage already done. The only reason he was okay with his own decision was because Gennie chose just the opposite. She chose Hermione over her own blood, her own brother. So Harry somewhere felt it right to choose Ron. That way, he thought, they will do justice to both his best friends.

Only that, things changed eventually with Ron entering back the social circle with more prominence and Hermione disappearing from everything altogether. He never wanted that. Never ever.

" I think I am unaware of too many things Gennie", Harry said as he stretched his hand to give her the letter he received just now.

Gennie read aloud:

Mr. Potter,

Requesting an audience with you at Rosewood Villa at midnight today to discuss certain physical conditions and curses that Ms. Granger has been suffering from in the recent times. Since she is to help you keep your bloodline ongoing, as her mother I would like to have your words on keeping my daughter unharmed before she enters into any sort of dealings with you.

Looking forward.

Narcissa Malfoy.

Gennie smiled.

" Dont worry Harry. She is okay. Infact she is more than okay. She rocks. Go ahead, its close to midnight. You better hurry."

Harry frowned momentarily but didn't hesitate to start getting dressed up. He indeed neglected Hermione too much. How on Earth did she end up being Narcissa's daughter? What on earth could have happened? In the Court, she looked determined to choose Malfoy despite the unpleasant history. And now Narcissa was sending the letter!!!

As he was about to step into the fireplace, Gennie hugged him from the back.

" Don't be rude Harry. Hermione needs support, not judgment. So whatever you hear, don't react. Okay?"

Harry nodded and stepped into the fireplace.

He released the floo powder from his palm as he said " Rosewood Villa" and vanished from Gennie's sight.
