Everyone looks forward to getting their soulmate tattoo. it is unheard of to get more than one soulmate, in fact it is actually impossible. some people may never even get a tattoo. that just means that their soulmate is unable to speak.
I woke up to the annoying sound of my brothers arguing over who gets the last of the milk for their coffee. 'boys! it's your sisters birthday today, she gets the last of the milk. got it?' I heard mum call out. My cue to get up and say hi to everyone. I got out of bed and went to open my bedroom door, when I felt a searing pain on both my wrists. I looked at the right one first. 'are you lost?' it said. I looked at the left one next. 'you look like you need a drink' it said. what does this mean? do I have two soulmates..? no.. not at all. its impossible to have two.. I thought to myself. I shrugged my shoulders and walked out of my room. 'hey Y/n. Glad you're awake' Jinyoung said to me.
'glad to be here' I replied. he laughed. 'oh sweetie you're awake, I made you a coffee with the last of the milk, your father is out getting more milk and I'm heading to work. tonight we can celebrate your birthday ok? Chanyeol, Jinyoung be nice to your sister. don't be disheartened if you don't get your soulmate tattoo till late, ok?' mum said and left my brothers and I at home.
'you guys can play rock paper scissors, and whoever wins gets my coffee' I informed them and watched as they played. Chanyeol winning.
~~~Taeyong's P.O.V~~~
I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on my door. 'come in!' I yelled. Johnny opened the door. 'boss, another new girl at school has been found dead. the news is saying that it's the same person that keeps killing young women. what should we do' johnny informed me. 'wasn't that girl the last new girl of the school. we are going to have to watch iKON. as I am pretty sure-' I stopped talking as I felt a pain on my right wrist.
I looked at it. 'you're pretty sure... what?' johnny said snapping me out of my thoughts. 'i'm pretty sure Jay is the one doing the murders' I replied. 'also, johnny, before you go, tell the others to be on the lookout for new girls once school starts' I told him. 'ok, but why may I ask?' he said. 'because I just got my soulmate tattoo' I answered. 'but you turn seventeen this year, how is that possible? we all thought your soulmate was unable to talk' he said. I gestured for him to leave, so he did. I looked at my tattoo and it said 'uh, yeah I am. I just transferred here. Its my first day and I have no idea where the front office is. Could you show me?'. weird. I thought and shrugged my shoulders and got ready to talk to an investor.
