The Order of Light's frontliners scrambled backward, raising their shields and forming a defensive line. They knew it wouldn't matter against this kind of power, but it was all they could do.
Thankfully, they weren't the ones who had to face the monster directly.
"So, Azztar Echo, you've finally come out," Orlan called as he floated into the air. He maintained a calm, dignified appearance, but his eagerness to fight was plain to see.
The Order of Light existed to fight evil, and taking down a creature like the so-called King of Chaos would earn Orlan the fame and recognition he craved.
"Since you're so fearless," he sneered, his eyes glowing with radiant light, "let me send you back to your maker!"
Orlan shot forward, his fist glowing with holy energy as he aimed for Wain.
