I did not have to draw the blinds to know who was behind my French doors. Goosebumps and flickering in my stomach were like a beacon telling me when Kyle was near. I leaned against the bed head just in time to catch him blink into the room. He did not say a word, but kicked off his shoes, and slipped under the sheets.
A soft sigh left his lips when his head hit the pillow. "I thought you were sleeping."
My gaze lifted from the glass to him. "No, can't sleep."
My nap was irregular. Sometimes I slept during the day and other times within the night. It was a scary fact. I read in a book that some babies stayed up during the night. Oftentimes I wondered if this was our children's sleeping patterns. Would they rest in the day and cry during the night? Or would they nap at night and play within the day?
