"I know how to break the curse and save everyone." My words rang out in the room.
Eric stared at me with widened eyes. The game was forgotten. The monitors were red and big bold letters blinked in the middle of the monitors: Game Over.
"What did you just say?" he whispered.
I shifted in my seat.
Why the words flew out was due to guilt. Eric was a bigger man than me. We were family and since he could confess his failures, so could I. Sabastian knew me as I did him. He gave me advice based on his understanding of me and the situation. That advice was not always good, but they helped, nonetheless.
Eric recovered from my outburst and turned back to the monitors, putting on his casual mask. It was quite intriguing how he and the others learned how to conceal their emotions around me. They could not say they had not learned anything from these few days.
He clicked the restart button. "So, how long have you known?"
