With Kyle gone for two hours, I had to hurry with this plan of mine. Therefore, I left the High Council building and took the shortest route home: through the forest. The family mansion was booming with lights. Security had doubled. However, I knew a secret passage through my mother's garden that traveled near the house.
I followed the trail and jumped up to the second balcony. The door was unlocked by a little magic. There was no guard in the home library. So, I got a clear passage to the third floor. This was the floor of both my parent's offices. Guards were crawling everywhere. Courtney and mother were yet to be seen which was a good sign.
