Kyle silenced any other comments with his response. He was giving me until tomorrow. At least, he was making me think I had a choice. We both knew I would have to take the treatment whether I wanted to or not. It was a must. Still, he gave me time. Time to finish up what needed to be done.
This meant I had to find proof of my sister tonight. It was going to be tricky since all eyes would be on me for the next couple of weeks, maybe years if I lasted that long.
"Okay," Kyle announced. "Let's go meet with the board members."
No one complained or disrupted him this time. We all followed him out the door and to the neighboring room.
He knocked twice on the door with, "I hope you are all not planning my demise."
