The rest of our trip was uneventful. Linsday and Eric went back to join the others. The odd sensation from before was gone. Maybe they genuinely enjoyed themselves. Maybe they didn't. Either way, everyone else did.
We managed to travel back to the castle a little before sundown. After I promised the twin Guardians we would visit them more often. And, I wouldn't bring more surprises. The odd thing was Brianna liked them. And they liked her. Not even Cascada did.
I used the opportunity when the girls decided to prepare dinner to check on the guardian angel. He was still asleep in his sac. I gave the fairies the go-ahead to head to bed. There was no evidence to prove he was breaking out of that thing before morning.
