Lukewarm. That was how the water felt. Lukewarm. Yet, it caressed my skin and relaxed my nerves. There were even moments where I could have sworn I dozed off. Never in my life had I fell asleep in a bathtub before. Did I feel exhausted before my entry into the bathroom? No, I did not.
However, my sudden exhaustion could be due to the stress of the day. In fact, the entire week, no month was stressful. Still, exhaustion came nothing near to need. The need to be comforted by the person I wasn't even allowed to be around. The need to be intoxicated by the scent of fresh morning forest air.
It was bad enough I became soft. I became that girl in those despicable movies, who pined after a disgustingly unattached, hot guy. It was pathetic. This was the old me. And, it was all thanks to the fact I couldn't stake my best friend when he needed me. It was all because I couldn't keep my panties on during the darn Red Moon.
