"This place is so amazing," Summer raved as we strolled back into the kitchen.
Our small tour had just been over. Cascada was called away in the middle of it, and we came back here to find the alpha. No one wanted to anger him more than we already did. Jake's word, not mine.
"Wait, isn't that Kyle?" Sabrina asked.
Fifteen pairs of eyes gazed out at the terrace. Kyle stood on the terrace railing, looking down at the world below it.
"What is he doing?" Jake whispered.
"Maybe he's committing suicide," Summer answered.
Josh rolled his eyes at Summer's response.
But, Heather answered before he did. "Don't be silly. He's going into the Sanctuary."
"Into the what?" I inquired.
"Sanctuary," Heather repeated. "That's what he told me it was called. We were never allowed to go with him when he went down there. He said it was dangerous, that the chiefs didn't allow it."
