"I'm so jealous," Summer groaned when the door closed behind the others.
"You're always jealous," Ashley countered.
"Yeah, I know, but this time the feeling is well deserved," Summer fired back. "It's already obvious. Plan C is to have Amy and Brian stay here, and this place is amazing. Wouldn't you want to stay here too?"
"I agree," Courtney joined. "I wouldn't mind staying here. My life is a mess as it is."
"Yeah," the girls chorused.
I wouldn't mind watching the waterfall or attending to the flowers in the garden.
"So, I'm guessing the plan Seduce Josh isn't working, and he is still acting like an asshole?" Sabrina asked Courtney.
Courtney slouched, leaning against the door. "He keeps saying he hates me, and I mean nothing to him."
Josh was much stronger than we gave him credit for. He could withstand the unpleasantness of the mating bond. Not even I could go through with the pain that accompanied that decision.
