"All the campus population got a treat today," Josh informed us.
"Some even got leftovers to take home or to their dorms," Courtney added.
"People loved the treats." Summer grinned.
"Surprisingly, people were coming back for seconds and third today in the lunchroom," Sabrina joined. "There were even some people I didn't even know who went to our school and those who had never eaten at the canteen before."
Brianna bobbed her head. It was hard to tell if she was accepting the compliment or not. Her facial expressions never changed. It remained passive. I wondered if she played poker.
"So, there's no leftovers?" Brian asked, panic evident in his tone.
Josh shook his head with a smirk. "Nope."
Brian groaned and banged his head on the table. "We're going to have to make more for tomorrow."
Brianna rolled her eyes. "Ugh, stop whining. I'm the one who is going to do all the work."
