The two other bounty hunters weren't as injured as their friend. One flicked out a nunchuck from behind him and whipped it around.
Each time it whipped through the air, spikes appeared at the ends before disappearing again. The other bounty hunter which I assumed was the leader pulled a large palm-size rectangular case from his shoes. A sharp click accelerated my heartbeat when he rotated the middle. He then pulled at the ends, elongating the case into a spear. Another click followed, exposing two blades at each end.
'I'm getting bored,' Woldfie yawned. 'Why are you even prolonging the inevitable? Just kill them all. Why fight when you can end them with a wave of your hand? It's disrespectful they sent human bounty hunters for a kid being protected by a God.'
"Shut up!" I whispered. "And, we're not full Gods."
