In the same time frame, a loud banging came from a room nearby.
"Summer?" Ashley shouted.
We rushed after the sound in fear something happened to her. However, Summer was fine. She stood in front of a table in the room.
Healthy. When we stepped in, she slipped something shining into her pouch. Then turned to look at us with an apologetic smile.
"I'm okay," she expressed. "I kind of went Nancy Drewing by myself. You guys were just so intrigued by the pictures, I didn't want to pull you away."
I narrowed my eyes at her. However, my brain forgot to formulate the question of what she had taken from the table as it analyzed the rest of the room.
There were no windows in this room, but one door that led out into the hallway we came from. Two brown polished coffins laid beside each other on the left side of the room.
