"Is that a castle?" Summer's face was bright as the sun.
"Yep!" came Kyle's response while popping the 'P'. "We should head in that direction. I want to finish this whole thing before nightfall."
He didn't have to speak twice, everyone was trailing behind him by the last word in his sentence.
We went back onto the path, passed fields of dandelions, and through another white gate.
The castle towered over the land. The whitewash brick walls stood out from the colors surrounding the building. The whole scene held the essence of a fairy tale.
We strolled up to the large double doors at the entrance of the castle. A large paw was carved in the middle of one of the doors. On the other, there were two fangs. The carvings were embedded with green crystals. The doorknob resembled a wand.
Kyle stepped in front of the group, and up to the doors. At his presence, the crystals glowed and the door opened itself.
