A long silence fell over us.
When the silence became too unbearable Kyle spoke through our mental link. "Drew had asked Colin, Josh, and I out for drinks. Josh didn't want to associate himself with Drew, so I agreed. We planned to meet up in the forest to avoid wandering eyes. Josh was pissed. He complained all through our gathering. Drew didn't mind, though. But, his friend, Eric did. It transformed from back-and-forth witty banters from Josh as Eric to fighting. Colin tried to calm Josh. Drew went to get his leader to help attain Eric. I was frustrated by the time Brian showed up. But it later turned into admiration." A slight moment of silence followed. "With two sentences Brian was able to get Eric under control."
"Yeah, he's always been smart." I smiled.
"When he was younger, he read encyclopedias for fun. I mean, who did that."
Kyle joined me in chuckling.
