My gaze slid down my body. I drew in a mouth full of oxygen and went inside the truck. By the time my truck started up, Josh's sedan zapped past us.
Two minutes and I was pulling up in our driveway. Josh's sedan sat comfortably in the garage. Before the engine was cut, Heather was out of the truck and going inside the house.
Six more minutes and everyone was fresh and out in the living room.
"Heather, I want you to go and pack your things," I ordered, walking into the living room.
Her eyes left the television screen to stare at me. "Why? Are we leaving again?"
The way she dragged out 'again' was not mistaken. I hated that she noticed we moved around alot. But, we couldn't stay here any longer. No doubt, the tall guy's boss found out about his men. He would come looking for Josh. I couldn't risk Heather getting hurt.
"Yes, I know, but we have to go."
