I glanced around the room.
I could recall reading something about this space. No one was ever able to guarantee it existed. Now, here we were. We weren't dead and we weren't alive. This made a little sense. At least, I thought it did.
"How did you get here?" I asked a little unsure of how he would take the question.
He blew out a heavy breath. "It's a long story."
I got more comfortable on the couch. "One I have time to hear."
He arched a brow but said nothing. Then, he started. "I almost died and Kyleon saved me. He used his powers for us to merge. Later on, he sent me here."
Merge. Only Gods could merge. Well, oh, right. Kyle was a god.
