Brian knew there was no escaping and there was no chance of him fighting back. He couldn't even win me in a fight as a vampire. Now he was stuck in a frail state, he was bound to die, and death would be even more agonizing.
The thought brought me more pleasure. I needed Brian's death to be painful. He continuously caused my mate pain and made my cousin have to hide. If those two factors didn't warrant a harsh death, I don't know what did.
"Kyle," Jake begged. The certainty from earlier was now gone. He swallowed aloud when I looked at him.
My gaze shifted back to Brian. His intake of breath was short and sharp. I was going to enjoy every second of killing them. This was for all the times they disobeyed my orders. For all those times, they got on my nerves. For all those dreadful moments I wanted to heed to the urge of killing them but didn't because of some messed up affection I had for them.
