Chapter 5 - Chapter 3

Chapter 3

------

"Hey Blue did I tell you I'm going to be the greatest Hokage ever!?"

"Yes. Twenty-seven times, you did."

"Why aren't you eating your ramen, Blue?"

"I don't like ramen."

Kurenai, Iruka and Naruto stared at her in shock.

"What?" Kurenai asked.

"I... don't like ramen?" Blue shrugged.

Lol. They act like they haven't seen a single soul that doesn't like ramen

I'm sure they haven't. You schizophrenic voice.

Again, not schizophrenic.

"Hey can I have your ramen!?" Naruto yelled.

"Sure." Blue pushed the bowl to him.

"Aren't you hungry?" Kurenai asked.

"I am."

"Do you eat any other thing?" Iruka asked.

"Dango. I love dango." Blue grinned.

"Well then, let's go to the dango store!" Kurenai yelled, standing up. "Bye Iruka, Naruto."

"Bye." Iruka waved. Kinda.

Naruto mumbled a 'bye Kurenai-san, Blue' with his face in the bowl of ramen.

Blue laughed at him.

She and Kurenai stopped by a dango shop and Kurenai bought her lots of dango until she was full and stuffed.

Kurenai walked her back to Izumo's house, promising to go shopping for ninja tools with her later.

"Thank you, Kurenai. For handling her," Izumo said.

"It's okay. She was an angel." Kurenai smiled.

Asuma was somewhere inside the house, fixing up Blue's room with Kakashi.

"I'll go get Asuma." Izumo disappeared into the house, leaving Blue and Kurenai outside.

"So Blue, do you remember anything before you woke up at Konoha's gates?"

"Dei-"

Blue!

"The demon dancing salsa?" She grinned clumsily.

"What demon?"

"A salsa demon."

"Hey Kurenai," Asuma said, coming outside. "Blue."

"Heyyyyy Asuma-san!" Blue smiled.

"Go on inside. You'll see Kakashi."

"Kay!" Blue ran inside, shutting the door behind her. Around the corner, she saw Kakashi. "Yo! Bakashi!"

Kakashi turned around and glared. "It's Kakashi, brat."

"Bakashi." Blue stuck her tongue out at him.

Kakashi was about to do the same when Izumo came out of a room.

"Okay Blue, come in."

Blue followed Izumo inside.

"This is your room."

Blue looked around. It was nice. A bed instead of a mat like most Japanese. A closet and a wardrobe side by side, and a door leading to the bathroom.

"How do you like it?" He asked.

"It's great!" Blue yelled.

Izumo nodded. "Now some rules. Don't stay up past 9, no boys allowed and don't touch my chips.

"Aw Izumo, you're like a real father!" Kakashi squealed sarcastically. "I'mma go now."

"And Blue, if you need anything, let me know. My room is on the other hall, the first room to the right."

Blue didn't even know her right and left no matter how many times Hidan taught her but she nodded nonetheless.

"And the Hokage requested to see you, so be up and early tomorrow morning."

"Yes Father!" Blue saluted him.

Izumo looked taken aback but sighed and left.

------

Deidara usually wakes up to a happy, bouncing Blue.

But today was different. It was like she was gone.

He felt odd as he styled his hair. Blue was the one who usually styled it. She was like a little sister. An annoying talkative full-of-questions one but he loved her nonetheless. And that's something coming from Deidara.

Even Hidan had minimized his cursing because of her.

Blue was also very powerful. Deidara and Sasori trained her properly. Itachi occasionally but not much.

The only person who abhorred Blue was Konan. And Deidara abhorred Konan for abhorring Blue.

Blue's fire chakra was something special. Very special. Everyone could feel it. That was why the Akatsuki protected her. They tried to teach her other chakra natures but she just wasn't picking it up.

Deidara headed to the Akatsuki main room and still didn't find Blue. Now something was definitely wrong.

"Where's that fucking child!?" Hidan's voice echoed.

"That's true. I haven't seen her all day," Sasori sighed. "She usually sleeps late and wakes up early so what happened?"

"I just checked her room," Kakuzu said, coming downstairs. "Blue isn't there."

"Fuck," Deidara swore, running past Kakuzu to Blue's room. He slammed the door open. "Blue? Blueee?"

No reply.

"Fucking hell. That shitty child isn't anywhere," Hidan cursed from wherever he was.

Shit no. It can't be possible.
