Chapter 1 - End & Begin

Some people know their ending, dying of old age, dying of ilness or injury.

But for some, death come too sudden without any warning.

Adam was on his way home from work and like usual would stop by the convinience stor to buy some snacks.

"Hmm, what should I get, another instant noodle or something healtier, maybe a few burger or hot dog?" Adam mumbles as he enter the store.

After a couple of round surveying the product on the shelf, Adam notice a strange thing.

The store was too quiet - like when pin is drop and the sound bounce around.

There was no welcome greeting or the sound of bell after coming in.

Adam eye dart around before his gaze stay fix to the fridge.

A crimson liquid was dripping down from the glass and on the floor he notice what look like a body.

He almost shout but a big hand wrap in blood aoak glove quickly block his mouth.

"Shush....I'm not gonna ask twice," a heavy voice came from behind him.

At the same time a cold and icy object was place near Adam neck.

Adam forcefully hold his voice down and try his best to stay still - but fail, can any normal citizen stay calm, I bet we will shiver all the way like any normal person will do in this type of situation, at least thats what I imagine.

'*%#k, why must this happen to me, is this my unlucky day? I should have stock up on food if I know this would happen'

Then come another voice, "Oh, another poor souls".

Suddenly, there was a sharp and excruciating pain.

Adam try to speak but fail and a strange sound came from his throat- you guess it, his throat had been slid open by the first criminal.

It was painful, suffocating and cold. With his sight gradually turning dark all that Adam could do was hold the wound with his hand but it did not help him.

As less oxygen is delivered to his body, Adam eventually die of sufficating.

The last wish Adam had was: 'I wish I can say goodbye'.
