The environment inside the main palace in Shariz was akin to the funeral. No one was talking nor did they dare to open their mouths. All the aristocrats intertwined their fingers and propped under their chins and waited for the next decree of the king.
However, the king and the dukes seemed to be discussing something else at the kingdom's problem level but on an entirely different topic than what the rest of the aristocrats thought of.
"Will she be okay without me by her side?"

"Ah, this precious letter." He unclenched the wrinkled letter. His eyes showed that he was shocked to see the expected sight of the paper after being abused by him.
