It's been more than two hours since she had woken up. The bright light on the high ceiling wasn't less painful than her left cheek. The place where the king situated and drilled a hole on it with his strong sympathetic gaze.
Her body had been stagnant for more than it could handle and Elizebeth had suffered a lot because of that.
There were two people next to her, waiting and mumbling to each other like a couple comforting each other right next to her. Their presence wasn't the only hindrance to her movement but also her plan.
'Gosh! Go away.'
Elizebeth prayed inside her heart desperately.
'My body is aching. Go away.'
She held herself from squishing her eyes tight as her ears picked a few murmurs within the proximity.
"Is she alright?"
"She will be alright."
"My King, is she able to function normally? It's been too long since she fainted."
"We'll try to ease the pain, my beloved."
