Indulf and Alec stared at each other long enough. They weren't sure how to react to the message they received just now.
At first, it sounded offensive but when they replayed it for the second time, they felt it was a compliment for their sister.
The loud murmurs behind them were ignored. The knights were chatting angrily amongst them. Some were seethed, some were calm and some were already violent.
Most of Indulf's knights didn't take the news greatly. Especially Mark. He was in charge of protecting Elizebeth whenever she came here. Elizebeth might not know about him, but he knew almost everything about her.
Although Elizebeth had her own knight, each brother sent at least one trusted knight to look over their sister. Unfortunately, however, a knight from a different faction was banned to follow Elizebeth's traveling. So, they had no choice but to trust her knight.
