"I apologize for disturbing the dining," Emily bowed her head to Elizebeth.
Elizebeth looked at her, eyes flickering. She shifted in her chair to turn her body slightly to her head maid.
"Forgive this humble servant for daring to disrupt the fair of the royal family," Emily repeated the apologies, this time she was rather specific.
Elizebeth lifted one of her brows, quite anticipated. Emily was only allowed to interrupt her to report the urgent matter. By her swift steps that she was aware of ever since she was 10 miles away, it looked important enough.
"State your mind, Emily. Worry not, nothing can harm any of your body, for I, pledge to protect you." Elizebeth said nobly, laced her fingers together, and sat upright.
Emily maintained her posture, her mouth was opened wide but the hesitation stuttered the process of delivering. "I- I apologize, My Lord. I…" subconsciously, she bit her lips to the rest.
