The sound of crying wasn't subdued for the slightest. Wherever she went, the servant's eyes were wet with tears. Every servant that greeted them had a hint of pink-ish shade around their eyes.
"Good morning, princess…" greeted the servants in sniffled and swollen eyes.
"Yeah," the fake smile masked her whole face. "Be careful."
"We will."
"Where is mother?"
"She is recuperating inside her room with the duke, princess." Answered the servant diligently amid the overflowing tears on her cheek.
She fumbled her long dress tiredly. She raised one of her hands and wiped off the tears of the servant with her thumb, "Huh~ my people are crying like a baby."
"Forgive the humble insolent behavior, princess." Sobbed the servant even louder.
"I'm so sorry to hear that." Elizebeth wiped off the tears again. "She is okay." She embraced the sobbing servant into her arms. "My mother is well."
