"Evergreen!" Tanaka called from behind.
Evergreen slowed down her horse and switched places with Anggerik that ran down with Kekwa behind her back.
"Did yer manage to score any interaction with her yet?"
Evergreen regretfully shook her head. "We don't have enough time to engage. I managed to smile, that's it."
"Tough luck." Kay, who turned into a bird, flew around her eyes to piss her off.
"Shut it. Don't make me kill you." Evergreen swung her fist to the water element.
"Tough luck," Kay repeated, evaded the attack, and ran off to Dante that was leading the group.
"But I thought Dante, my pal met her last night?" It's more to question rather than an affirmative.
"He what?" Evergreen flinched, close to halting her horse.
"That's what I saw."
"And?"
Tanaka shrugged. "There's no and, my lady. He's just returned. With a grumpy face at that."
