She blinked hazily in the dark. Listening to the crickets outside, feeling the cold air and the chill darkness surrounding her, it was midnight. It came as perfect black, the true companion of every good night.
She was a different story, entirely.
The night was the time when she shone like a firefly light up the glow on their butt and danced around with the intonation of the wind. It was the perfect time to flex their beautiful light either for fun or to guide people to a certain area.
Outside the window, the night sky into a view. Another cloudy night rolled in covering the last of the twilight sky, the blackness comforted her inner conflict. The darkness spread across the night as the stars twinkled alluring was concealed by it, but the air still felt humid. The dark sky imparted a nyctophobic* tension for some people.
However, the very darkness brought solace inside her, caressing her whole body, whispering to her that she was safe.
