As they say, not everyone will last. The day will come when the things and people you loved so much will also leave.
Zeus just sat in his room holding a photo of his wife. Hera is gone. She left him and it was his fault why that happened.
"I will look for you Hera. I love you."
Hestia and Demeter woke up in a quiet surrounding. This is not normal because everything is usually noisy. The two suddenly got nervous and quickly went to Hera's room. Demeter knelt down and cried. Hestia went inside and checked the broken things.
"She's—she's gone."
"With her son."
Hestia helped Demeter stand up and they looked around. The mirrors were broken and they knew Hera had gone astray before she left. His belongings were in disarray and torn. Even the photo of him and Zeus when they got married was cracked and scattered around.
"She knew the truth. She—Hestia where are you going?!"
Demeter panicked when Hestia suddenly came out of Hera's room.
"Hestia!"
Demeter even more panicked when Hestia entered Zeus' room. Before she could reach the room, Zeus was suddenly thrown out. His clothes were in flames but it disappeared immediately.
"Oh my god. Hestia stop it!"
Demeter backed away when she saw the inside of Zeus' room. Everything was on fire and Hestia was inside floating while burning with anger. Her eyes turned red and terrifying.
Zeus stood as if nothing had happened to him. Demeter approached him and helped him to his feet.
"Are you okay?"
"Don't touch me!"
"I'm trying to help—aaaah!"
Zeus was not yet able to stand when he suddenly sat down again in pain. When out of anger, Hestia could no longer control herself. All she had in mind now was to kill her brother.
"Hestia stop! He's already burning in flames! You're gonna kill him if you won't stop!"
"That's what I want."
"What—"
"If you hadn't done that to Hera she would still be here today and her life would not be in danger!"
Hestia let go of the fire again and instead of Zeus being shot, the side vase was broken. Demeter pushed Zeus to the side so as not to be overwhelmed by fire.
"Her life is in danger now because she is with your son who is a vampire and you are to blame!"
Zeus was stunned and slowly turned to Hestia who came down from floating. She's crying and just looked at Zeus.
"I don't know what I will do when something bad happens to Hera. If your son kills her you'll be next remember that!"
Hestia stormed out of the palace leaving Zeus and Demeter. Zeus could not speak and could not believe because of what he heard. Demeter sat down and went silent. They remained like that for a few minutes until Zeus himself broke the silence.
"My son—he's a vampire?"
Demeter nodded and stood up. He looked at Zeus who was just stooping.
"I will not punish you like Hestia did but this is what you will remember. I will never forgive you when something bad happens to Hera. Even though we are siblings, I can forget that. I hope you didn't just do what you planned before. You're selfish. You're doing all of this just for yourself. You're the king remember? How can you do this to your own sister. Curse you to the depths of hell."
Like Hestia, Demeter also left and left Zeus unaware of what to do. Until now, Zeus' brain could not process what happened. He got up and went into his messy room. He knelt down and picked up the photo of him and Hera. He walked over to the window and looked around.
"I will search for you, my love."
