"I don't know, Sweetheart. Hakeemudeen, I'd like to offer you both your own rooms at my place. At least until you beef up security here."
Hakeem nodded. He picked up his phone and walked out of the room. She turned to Nate.
"What if I don't want to move in with you?"
"Thokozani, I would feel calmer and saner if I knew you were somewhere safe. Please? Just for a weekend. Hakeemudeen is under instruction to keep you safe at all costs."
Her eyes widened. "But he can't die! His family calls every day."
Nate kissed her forehead, "It will probably never get to that."
She sat up and huffed, "I don't even know how my dad got the idea to hire him in the first place. No one even knows I am his daughter."
