Your presence is a mirage.
I can feel it if you are not around. Desperate of missing you.

The sunlight started to fade out, cold of the winter had approached. Once, Lucca reached ten years old, his mother started leaving him alone in their cave. She did that because Chosdarea had to go to the nearby village.
"My son, it seems that the winter has come. We will need additional food in the village. Could you stay alone my little boy even if you get lonely?"
Lucca nodded his head, then his mother left him.
She had no other choice. If she didn't do that they would die of starvation because it would be difficult to hunt during winter.
In the other side ...
Lucca.
My mother won't have to do that alone if my father with us right now ...
Never mind.
Lucca used his leisure time to train his new spell. He tried to cast the spell in countless time. At last, he could not do it, it was draining his mana.
He trained it every day. Sometimes, he caught fish from the river and ate it raw.
It's been a week since my mother gone, where's that village actually?
In a coincidence, he just discovered a new ability but at this time there was no notice like any other which happened before.
「Predator Sense has activated!」
In a very short time, he could feel a small group of fish was hiding near the creek.
Once, Lucca almost collapsed because his vision started changing.
After that, he concentrated again and he could sense an animal ... this creature was really familiar to him. A rabbit.
It is not just one ...
Perhaps in their nest.
Not going to leave this opportunity, he followed the scent to the rabbit nest which was not really far from his cave.
He had to cross the river by jumping from one stone to the others.
Suddenly, the scent that he followed was mixed with the other.
What now?
It smells like a stone... no .. an iron
or ...
is it ...
A blood?
His bare feet started shaking, Lucca's entire body became cold. His thought and his sense were mixed but it headed into one.
Chosdarea.
Mother.
