Chapter 98 - GUILT

(THEA'S POV)

The sky from outside the window is already starting to change its color to orange. I barely sleep with too much anticipation. I can't wait to see Gabin; even if he is not my family and even if I'm not Jassy, I began to grow on him. Even if we just only met once, I can't forget what I saw from his eyes, the pain of being away from his mom, the feeling of being rejected by his own mother. I know, I can't fill that missing part of him. I just want him to have even just a little moment of fantasy in his life.

"Hey, you're already awake. You forgot to tell me what time you're planning for us to go and what's your plan as we get there?" York got up from his bed after noticing my eyes ajar.
