"Excuse me, Miss Jassy, you got a visitor." The nurse appears with the landlady.
I smile after I got my eye on the landlady. She smiles a bit awkwardly like she hadn't smiled at me before or seen me smile before. Oh, I almost forgot I'm already, Jassy. She's not really fond of Jassy since Jassy is strong-willed and not the kind of girl that would usually follow boarding house rules.
"I'm happy that you're awake. I called your parents, but they can't come to visit you. By the way, I just told them about you lately. I don't know what to tell them, and I'm scared that they might sue me for everything that happened in my place, and I don't have an excuse or even reason to tell them." she sputters uncomfortably.
