Adam was a normal 24 year old boy, he had managed to finish his university with an average result, which helped him to get a job easily. Today was his first day at work, it had taken him all morning to get ready for his first introduction. He had even prepared a dialogue in case he had a conversation with an employee. As he walked to the building, he heard the scream of a woman in the distance.
He raised his head and could see a guy running towards him, he had a gun in his right hand and in his left he had a bag, he was a thief. Adam was lost in thought a few moments ago, and didn't know how to react to this situation. The thief, while running, could see that Adam was "blocking" his way, without thinking twice, pointed his gun and fired.

Adam felt a pain in his chest, close to his heart. When he realized the whole situation and the fact that he had been shot, he cursed his fate and moments later closed his eyes, he was dead.
Not a minute passed before he opened them again. Confused by this, he went to check his surroundings, he could see leaves and leaves, he was in a forest. He thought he had died and that this was the sky, he tried to walk for a few moments, but he stumbled and fell to the ground. He wondered what had happened, under his head to check his legs and he could see that...his legs were no longer there, instead there were four hairy legs, and instead of having skin he was surrounded by white hair. He had become a Lion.
Adam was looking at himself in his "mirror" for 20 minutes, looking at himself from all angles, making sure that this Lion was him and not an animal copying his movements. He looked around many times to make sure he was alone.
Finally he calmed down, quickly understanding his situation. He had apparently been reincarnated as a Lion, a typical situation for the protagonists of the novels he read when he arrived home from college. He wasn't angry or anything, he was just a little happy for the gift that any God had given him.
He could go on living, even if it was in another body. Thinking about how he died made him very angry, it was a very unfair situation.
He was trying out his new body for a few hours until he could finally get comfortable, it was easy to run on all fours and you could be faster than a human.
Although the bad thing was that you couldn't pick up objects or use them, he had to take it with his mouth instead. After some time of testing his body, he began to search his memories for what happened to the protagonists of the novels after they were reincarnated.

"Oh, I understand, I understand. Is it possible for you to tell me who it was that gave you that order?" I ask knowingly.

Seeing that there was no way for the system to inform him, he went on to give his next order.
"Tell me your duties," Adam ordered, as he lay resting on the floor.
The system, upon hearing Adam's command, mentioned all his functions. Adam listened to all the information provided by the system and finally made a summary in his head. The system had the following functions; status window, store, missions, inventory and more.
But to discover these he did not have enough permission or level.
"Status window" said Adam finally and then another window appeared with the same design as the previous one.

Mmm...on second thought I'm getting very excited, my stats are very low and from the way I looked in the water puddle I'm basically a Lion cub. Besides, I only have two skills and looking at their names they seem useless.

What the hell is that, I got up quickly and looked at the bush, after a while, from the bush I could see a worm with big jaws starting to come out.
But this worm was absurdly gigantic! I've never seen a worm that big in my life. It's my size, that damn worm! And I'm the same size as a baby lion on Earth.
While I was mesmerized by the size of the worm, I did not realize that it was approaching me at a slow speed.
When it was about three feet away from my face I finally reacted and walked away quickly. I took my distance and watched it.
As I walked away I fell by accident, but I stopped too quickly, I shouldn't have moved so suddenly, I still don't feel as comfortable using this body, damn it!
I repositioned myself and stared at the worm, on second thought, this worm might well help me level up, I'm a level 0 after all.

After a while, I finally stopped moving and heard a sound from the system.

Because of the bites I took earlier, the dead worm's back was open. Inside you could see what appeared to be blood and some flesh, but this one was totally green. I was disgusted by this sight, but I quickly forgot it because of the sound coming from my stomach, it was the hunger I was feeling.
Seeing the body of the worm, I couldn't help but feel disgusted again. I certainly put my "mouth" into the worm's body and began to eat.
Surprisingly wise...very disgusting. The meat was solid, but the blood was like solid and liquid at the same time, like a bad tasting smoothie. I wanted so badly to vomit, but because of my hunger I couldn't afford it.
While I was eating, I thought about my battle with the worm, during this fight I never found myself scared.
I thought this was due to the passive "Lion's Pride".
Once my meal was over, I lay on my back on the floor with my pancake in the open. I lay there for an hour before I heard again how the bushes around me were moving.
I stood up as fast as I could and looked at the bushes around me, from which came a group of worms consisting of three. Like the previous one, they looked the same, they were the same species.
