I look to the geometry book, picking up the topic we previously were studying.
I'm not fine. The engagements are still in my head, blocking me from concentrating on anything else. I promised not to be bothered with anything regarding them, but here I am, disturbing myself over Jake and Madison's engagement party.
"Alright. We were studying the Equilateral Triangle. Yeah, the angles in an Equilateral Triangle and how to construct it right?"
She gives me a studious look before nodding. "Okay. Okay." She slowly opens her book up.
I sigh inwardly, knowing I've completely thrown the suspicion off me.
"Oh I have news for you girls." My mum turns away from the dishes to smile at us.
Jenny equally gets excited to hear what made my mum so excited as she too turns to face her, but I on the other, I'm not interested in knowing.
"My boss' son's engagement is this Friday and —"
