SUNDAY. 2:08 PM.
Somehow, I can't seem to get that statement out of my head—
"I am engaged to Madison."
I tune into the sound of the bus moving on the paved roads and try to calm myself. It's been two hours since the bus started moving and I've been trying to ignore the fact that I technically screwed up by choosing to sit next to Adrian.
After I shamelessly lied about my waist and hips hurting, Madison left to take another seat and that seat happened to be beside Jake's seat. When I saw her sit there, my stomach turned; I don't know if it's because I didn't eat dinner last night or something else, either way I don't like seeing Madison with Jake.
Even if I'm sitting next to Adrian -what I've wanted for so long- Madison is still the real winner. She has both boys wrapped around her finger.
