"I don't like you." I keep a straight face as I let the ever hurtful words out of my mouth.
He stares at me for seconds and I can't tell what he's thinking. "Is that why you were crying?" He shuffles on his feet, trying to control himself.
Of course, that's not the reason. I can't risk being left alone after melting completely and relying on someone. I'm not stupid to let it happen a second time.
"Yes."
He smirks. "Liar."
I open my mouth to say something else but he begins walking towards me slowly and I'm caught off guard by his actions.
"What are you doing?" I ask, moving away from him.
He makes a discontented sound. "I really don't like it when you say things like that."
I stutter, "Wh-what are y-you talking about?" I keep on walking backwards, almost tripping.
"You're lying."
"I'm not."
"You are."
