"Jake-"
He cuts me off, "Chill." He says in a deep voice, "We're there already."
He sets me down on a bench in the park and I groan annoyedly. After spending minutes in getting out, I'm back here within a second. I try to get up on my feet again but he pushes me back down.
"Let me go!" I yell.
"You can go, once your foot is okay." He yells back and that startles me a little. I stare at his expression; a mixture of anger and worry as he stares at my injured foot.
He goes down on his knees, picks up my leg, placing it on his lap and he begins dabbing the wound with something that stings. That's when I notice he went to the store to get a bandage. Then I watch him carefully put on the bandage on the cut.
I swallow hard, seeing his gentle and caring gesture towards me.
"I don't want you to get hurt ever again."
I can't breath. His words are so soothing and makes me emotional.
