I put my head down, trying not to listen to her. I don't want to hear anything about this but she keeps on talking.
"So what I think is that," She pauses, coming to stand in front of me with a pleased smile. "All what you had on Adrian was pure infatuation."
I don't respond.
"You were either just fascinated by the fact that he was tall, had great looks, played sports and was popular at the school, many other girls feel the same way as you. It's normal. You never liked Adrian."
I keep the bored look on, less interested in what her opinion is.
"Who you really like is Jake."
My eyes widen at the word-bomb, "What the hell?"
"Oh wow, so you're back to your earlier habits." Jenny sighs.
I ignore her, moving closer to put my point across. "Why would you say something like that?"
"What? I only said the truth." She speaks innocently like she doesn't know what she said is wrong.
