I woke with a warmth that wrapped itself around every part of me. Camden's warm solid body lay next to mine, his eyes shut. But there was a tension in his frame that I was sure meant he was not fully asleep. I nestled closer to his side, thinking for a moment that being here meant that I could hide from the world. We could disappear and live our lives in a cabin somewhere no one would ever think to look for us. I let my mind wander with that thought for a moment. Cam woke with a gentle start almost like he was keeping himself from actually falling asleep.
"Is it time to go?" I asked softly into the darkness.
"Yes, you have enough time to get ready if you start now." Sitting up in the bed I looked around my room.
