(Camden)
As I laid her in her bed I felt a rush of adoration for the woman who laid before me. Everything I had thrown at her shook in stride, processed it and moved along. She didn't faulted, I had felt her shock at the knowing that I was the prince of my people. More like an adopted prince, but still the heir to the high table, when my adopted father passed. Which would be never if I had my way, I had no interest in taking his place. Hopefully my brother would be taking up the mantle. But that was a fight for another time.
